CPD Accredited Tech Abuse Training
Explore comprehensive training opportunities with Refuge
Technology-facilitated abuse is not always ‘high tech’. Everyday devices and accounts are often misused to abuse and we are increasingly seeing complex cases needing support. It is the same domestic abuse we have always seen – but facilitated by technology. In recent years, the use of technology has become an integral part of daily life. It has also become a key feature in the perpetuation of domestic abuse.
Our training has been developed with the focus of educating frontline services, agencies and companies that work with or contact survivors of economic and technology-facilitated domestic abuse. It aims to raise awareness of these forms of abuse and provide professionals with the tools to recognise, respond to and support survivors of technology-facilitated and economic abuse.
